Founded in France in 1950 by Monsieur Pierre Cardin, the brand has become one of the greatest fashion empires of all time, shaping world fashion with its firsts and extraordinary designs. Pierre Cardin, who reflected the excitement of the period in the 60s, when space research was particularly intense, with the theme of “Space Age” in his collections, is one of the first representatives of the avant-garde and futuristic trend in fashion. Pierre Cardin, who introduced tights, shoulder pads and maxi coats, which still have their place in wardrobes today, to ready-to-wear, is considered by authorities to be one of the five best-known French fashion designers in the world.

Pierre Cardin, whose boutiques opened in many parts of the world from America to China, from England to the Soviet Union after the 1980s, has not only increased its recognition as a design brand in areas such as clothing, but also jewelry, perfume, furniture and accessories.

In Milan, Ascot Brun receives the "most creative man" award and the Fashion Oscar from the French Fashion Industry. In 1989, he goes to India and presents his Spring-Summer collection there.

He became a UNESCO honorary ambassador and designed jewelry and medals to sell for the UNESCO-Chernobyl benefit. In June of the same year, Pierre Cardin exhibited his designs to 200,000 people in Moscow's Red Square.

By holding a very special fashion show in Vietnam, he became a part of the world press and managed to draw the world's attention to Vietnamese children.

He publishes the book “Pierre Cardin Evolution” and opens the museum “Past - Present - Future”.

In 2016, the prestigious French brand Pierre Cardin expanded its international presence by entering the Kosovo market for the first time. This milestone was made possible through a cooperation agreement with Sherreti Group, one of the most recognized and experienced business groups in Kosovo.
